Air diffusion through the floor to reduce energy consumption in HVAC systems
It is important to note that the ultimate goal of most HVAC systems is user comfort. If this objective is not met, stressful work environments are created, sometimes even unfeasible.
The diffusion of air through the floor (UFAD – Underfloor Air Distribution) can significantly favor the reduction in energy consumption in air conditioning, due to the fact that inflation temperatures of 4ºC to 6ºC are used, higher than the temperatures applied in the ceiling diffusion system.
This allows working with higher freezing water temperatures, which considerably decreases the energy expenditure in the compressors.
Another feature that can result in energy savings is the stratification of air above the occupation zone, typical of well-dimensioned systems.
The technical staff of Dannenge International has extensive experience in the design of air conditioning systems of all types, designed for the most different applications and offers a complete line of floor diffusers and accessories, developed and manufactured by the company Air Fixture.
They are equipment applied in the most demanding markets in the world, with internationally recognized performance.
UFAD products meet the most different demands of raised floor projects, covering different types of diffusers.
Dannenge intends to rescue the concept of air diffusion through the floor in the national and Latin American market, both for efficient applications in new buildings, and in the recovery of old installations with questionable performance. For the latter case, it offers drop in solutions, that is, remove what does not work and simply fit the solution.
To this end, it offers assistance in solving chronic problems in raised floor areas and in the adequate distribution of air with control of comfort parameters in the air-conditioned environment.
